Africa-Press – Angola. About five hundred citizens, previously affiliated with the FNLA party, joined the Social Renewal Party (PRS) in Malanje province on Saturday. António Domingos, satisfied with joining the PRS, explained that the reason for the change of party was due to disagreements with the leadership in the province.

Citizen Mateus Gonga stressed that the departure of the FNLA to the PRS was due to the violations in the statutes and reigning nepotism, promising now to work to recruit more militants for the growth of the party.

The provincial information secretary of the PRS, Onésimo Buíla, said that the entry of more militants is an asset for the party and represents dynamism, good service provision and political progress.

He added that the work to raise awareness among citizens, at the level of Malanje province, will continue to be developed in order to increase the number of militants in the ranks of the party, mainly at this stage of the pre-electoral campaign process.
