Vehicle Title launch announced

Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Francisco Queiroz, announced yesterday, in Luanda, the launch, soon, in the country, of the Vehicle Title.

The official, was speaking to the press at the inauguration of the Second Automobile Registry Office and added that the Vehicle Title will merge the Automobile Property Title and the Booklet.

This initiative, according to Francisco Queiroz, is part of the implementation of the Executive’s measures and policies aimed at modernizing and bringing public services closer to the citizen, making them accessible to any interested party.

The minister referred that, on a transitional basis, car ownership titles will continue to be issued at the Integrated Service for Citizen Assistance (SIAC) and at the Registry Offices in all provinces, allowing them to be printed locally.

According to Francisco Queiroz, with the inauguration of this conservatory, the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights intends to remove the pressure on the First Conservatory, due to the demand for the only service in this specialty.

The First Registry worked on the model of centralized printing of vehicle ownership titles, with all the resulting negative consequences, such as slow service, the excessive accumulation of unprinted vehicle ownership titles.

The Car Registry Offices have the purpose of registering the transfer of ownership of vehicles and other acts subject to registration, with a view to securing the legal trade in motor vehicles.
