Africa-Press – Angola. Huambo – At least 42,757 teenagers have been vaccinated against Cavid-19, in Huambo province, the head of the Public Health department, Celestino Máquina said Wednesday.
According to Mr. Máquina, since the vaccination campaign began in March, 2021, the health authorities have vaccinated 664,773 people.
Of this figure, he said, 230,000 had the second dose of Astrazeneca and Sinopharm vaccines.
Celestino Máquina said that the vaccination campaign against Covid-19, including among adolescents, was running smoothly in all the municipalities.
Despite that, Mr. Máquina appealed to the parents and guardians to take their teenagers to the vaccination posts.
Celestino Máquina assured that the province has a regular supply of vaccines to meet the demand.
