The MPLA president and candidate for President of the Republic, João Lourenço, announced today, in the province of Cuando Cubango, the construction of a road to connect the localities of Mavinga (Cuito Cuanavale) and Rivungo, for which all the financial conditions are created. .
João Lourenço, who was speaking during the mass political rally, as part of the General Election campaign on 24 August, also promised “that the construction and rehabilitation works of inter-municipal roads in the province of Cuando Cubango will start in the first days of the term”, in case of victory in the election.

The MPLA president also advanced that a total of 17 locations in Cuando Cubango will benefit from solar energy projects, which will be carried out by a consortium of companies.
In his speech, he highlighted that 17 independent projects will benefit from clean energy from the sun, which will be produced by a consortium, which includes the North American company Sal África. The continuity initiative is being implemented within the framework of increasing the capacity to supply electricity to the population.
