Africa-Press – Angola. The remarkable convergence on the part of voters from different social segments, in the recognition of the achievements in the recently ended term, represents for the MPLA, in Lunda-Sul, an indispensable indicator to guarantee the victory vote in the general elections of 24 August.
With the door-to-door campaign, in the outlying districts of the city of Saurimo, the MPLA is raising awareness among the population for responsible and conscientious voting. Doctor Domingos Txilombo highlighted his satisfaction with the construction of new structures such as the general hospital, the maternity hospital, achievements also highlighted by Constância Zango and Zola Priscila.
In this regard, the first provincial secretary of the party in Lunda-Sul, Daniel Neto, reaffirmed that the MPLA leader said, in the Central-East region that the creation of conditions for Angolans in the diaspora to exercise their vote for the first time reflects respect to a democracy that grows with the participation of all.
He emphasized the bets on the construction of infrastructures to expand the health network and the admission of dozens of doctors, in a province that in 2017 had only 24 doctors against more than 100 currently, over 3,000 nurses, which represent practically triple the number the sector has.
Daniel Neto said that the effort in training for specialization is a motto. Forecasts point to the “opening of training in other areas of Health”, as of next September. The portfolio of projects that the politician enumerated includes the construction of a new pediatric hospital and a new sanatorium hospital, to cover the needs of the headquarters that has a population of over 600 thousand inhabitants.
