Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the Broad Convergence for the Salvation of Angola, Electoral Coalition (CASA-CE), Manuel Fernandes, said yesterday in Luanda that, if he wins the elections, he will apply 10 percent of revenues from the diamond sectors to youth policy. and oil.
During the mass act aimed at hundreds of young people in Praça dos Congolenses, he said that the coalition will promote youth initiatives in the most varied sectors of the economy, through an economic feasibility study.
“We are going to launch a financial item in commercial banks and each interested young person will qualify, with a project, amortizing the values, through the payment of subsidized interest”, stressed the candidate from CASA-CE.
Education
As for the Education sector, Manuel Fernandes explained to young people that political training understands that “not just any teacher should teach in primary education”. to form the new man, emphasizing that “we cannot have poorly prepared teachers”. During the meeting, candidate Manuel Fernandes also assured that the coalition intends to invest in literacy, primary, secondary, secondary and higher education, with indicators never seen since the country’s independence.
Despite the importance of each of these teaching sectors, he said that technical-professional training would receive more attention, given the importance of meeting the needs of qualified labor for the productive sector.
Single Mother
Regarding women, the president of CASA-CE guaranteed that he will pay special attention to single mothers, with a maternity allowance, thus consolidating gender equality, within the framework of the empowerment of women themselves.
Manuel Fernandes clarified that the maternity allowance must be guaranteed for at least four months. “We have to empower women to rise to the challenges of our country”, underlined the leader of the coalition.
