Improvement Of Social Conditions
The secretary general of the PRS, Rui Malopa Miguel, promised, last Saturday, in the municipality of Cangandala, 28 kilometers south of the city of Malanje, a radical change in the basic social conditions of the population, if it is government.
Rui Miguel made this statement during a mass political act, held in the municipality of Cangandala, which served to present the electoral manifesto and the government program, as part of the campaign, aimed at the General Elections on the 24th of this month.
He referred to the militants, friends, sympathizers and the local population that, for the materialization of this desideratum, there is an urgent need to vote for the party.
The secretary general of the PRS said that the party’s main focus is administrative decentralization, in order to provide Angolans with decent housing.
The politician also guaranteed the improvement of the living conditions of the populations in the most varied areas, with emphasis on the sectors of Education, Health, Energy and drinking water. Rui Malopa Miguel argued that populations are currently consuming unsuitable water, which they extract directly from wells, causing acute diarrheal diseases.
The secretary general of the PRS said it was necessary to exercise the vote so that there was an alternation in power, in order to bring about a change in the country’s socio-economic framework.
“This is the moment, so on the 24th they have to change this state of affairs, voting”, he appealed. The politician advanced that the Agriculture sector is the fundamental basis for development and guarantees the food self-sufficiency of Angolans. Asked how the PRS will fulfill its promises, Rui Miguel clarified that it is through the vote that each candidate seeks to fulfill the goals, and, in the event of not doing so, the people have the right to elect other leaders to rule the country.
During two days of voting activity, with door-to-door actions, Rui Miguel interacted with the student population, civil society and traditional authorities. He referred to the message about the importance of voting in the August 24 elections, considering that it was well passed, and the party hopes that the population of Malanje will go to the polls to vote for the PRS.
According to explanations given by the politician, the party’s internal life in Malanje province is healthy and is growing. For this reason, he stressed, efforts are being made to implement decent structures at the level of municipalities, communes and villages.
