Africa-Press – Angola. The Rectory of Universidade Agostinho Neto (UAN) reported that registration for the entrance exams for the next academic year will take place until Friday, the 13th, but only online.
After this first registration phase, the entrance exams will take place for the ten courses of the various organic units, which will be held on the 29th of this month until the 2nd of September, on the university campus of the UAN. This entire process is preceded by the publication of lists with indications of rooms and dates for each course.
For the Academic Year 2022-2023, Universidade Agostinho Neto has 2,325 vacancies available in the regular period and 2,055 for after-hours, for a total of 4,380 vacancies.
For registration, the candidate must pay a fee of five thousand kwanzas, for each course to which he applies. In total, you can choose up to two options.
Available Vacancies
A total of 150,000 places are available from public and private higher education institutions across the country, for the academic year 2022/2023, as informed by the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
Maria de Rosário Bragança, who was speaking during the opening of the 2023 academic year, which took place on Thursday in Luanda, advised candidates to register in time, in order to avoid constraints later on.
The minister also highlighted, in the act, the new form of homologation of studies, now without the interference of students. “The Executive approved, within the Simplifica Project, a new way of proceeding with the approval of studies”, he said, adding that the National Institute for Assessment, Accreditation and Recognition of Higher Education Studies (INAAREES) intends, with the change, to bet on administrative modernization, through a stronger link with the country’s institutions.
