Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the Political Commission of the Humanist Party of Angola (PHA) in Bengo said, Monday (8), in Panguila, Dande municipality, that in case of victory in the elections of 24 August, his party organization will pay 70 thousand kwanzas in subsidies for widowed women and single mothers.
Fernando Muhongo was speaking in sector 11 of Panguila, during an activity to mobilize PHA militants, friends and sympathizers, and to promote the image of the candidate for President of the Republic, Florbela Malaquias.
According to the politician, the country needs to be humanized: “because many women who support their children, alone, do not find the strength or direction to stop the situations they face on a daily basis”.
He stressed that the PHA “will win” the next elections and govern the country, because it has the capacity to solve the population’s problems: “If we win, we will improve the country’s roads and provide a subsidy to widows and women who support their children without participation of the father, in the amount of 70 thousand kwanzas”.
He also stressed that the PHA will end the “Social Communication monopoly” and improve the Public Transport sector. “It is very expensive to travel between cities”, he said. The PHA has 834 delegates on the list already registered.
