Africa-Press – Angola. The MPLA Provincial Committee in Cuando Cubango has prepared a total of 1,324 list delegates who will be assigned to the 662 polling stations distributed in 412 polling stations, to supervise the voting process of the population in the General Elections.

The MPLA concludes, on Tuesday, the process of training the list delegates, during the closing of a seminar on strategies and techniques on how to supervise the scrutiny process and how they should position themselves during the vote counting process, so that the party is not harmed in the suffrage.

During the training action for the list delegates, which took place in the conference room of the party’s provincial committee, they were able to also mentioned the electoral cables in mobilization strategies, questions about the Electoral Law and the tools that must be applied throughout the exercise of activities.

The coordinator of the Political Bureau of the monitoring group to Cuando Cubango, Maricel Capama, at the end of the activities, called the attention of the electoral officers and list delegates to carry out their work with dedication and commitment, in the municipalities, communes and villages, so that ” no vote escapes in the 412 assemblies, previously installed by the National Electoral Commission “CNE”.

“The MPLA list delegates must be guided by disciplinary behavior, exercise responsible, attentive and objective supervision in relation to the activity carried out at the polling station, complying with the rules determined by the Organic Law of General Elections”, he warned.

The second secretary of the MPLA, Carla Cativa, assured that the militants, sympathizers and friends of the party, as well as the population, in general, in the province of Cuando Cubango, are aware of the challenges that await them on voting day and are mobilized. to guarantee the election of five deputies by the provincial circle, as happened in 2008″.

He underlined that, after the recent presentation of the electoral manifesto in Menongue, by the MPLA president, João Lourenço, at various levels, the party has been intensifying mass mobilization actions, through door-to-door campaigns, at the level of the nine municipalities, 32 communes and in all communities residing in the vicinity of the neighboring Republics of Zambia and Namibia.
