Africa-Press – Angola. Actor and executive producer Sílvio Nascimento was honored, Sunday, at the “Angola Comunica” gala ceremony, for his contribution to the cinema and audiovisual sector.
“God, my ancestors, that light is notorious that it comes from there”, exclaimed the actor during the ceremony, in Luanda, showing himself very moved by the fact of being honored in Angola, “while alive and young”.
According to the organization, the tribute is due to the achievements in favor of the arts, and the fiction that for him is “certainly rigorous, at a level that not even words could explain in a simple way, the seeds sown in arable land bear fruit and this is one more proof that we are moving towards the best that life has in store for us, the cultural union between peoples”.
The actor dedicated the award to his family, “who support me a lot and don’t let me do anything without honoring them”. He highlighted his mother, his few and “true friends, counted on the fingers of a only hand”, to his children and nephews, “godfathers of this life” and the most important person in his life and by his side and “never ago, to my beautiful and lovely wife Semia Nascimento, my thanks for supporting, supporting and encourage me to always be a light and a beacon for a generation that follows, without that I would be less complete and blessed”.
He extended his thanks to the organization of “Angola Comunica”, for this “wonderful moment in my career, it is marked for life”, he also thanked the Angolan people “for being so special and the fuel pump to continue walking the long way in favor of the arts.” Finally, the perspective that “God allows us to reach where He allows us to dream”.
