Africa-Press – Angola. When it was seven o’clock, Brasília time (04 hours less than in Angola), Angolan citizens residing in Brazil, punctually, began to exercise their right of citizenship (vote).

Shortly after the opening of the assembly, the members of the polling station were the first to exercise this right of citizenship, followed by the Angolan ambassador to Brazil, Florêncio de Almeida.

The same process took place in Brasília, at the Consulates General of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, where the voting process started at the right time, in a climate of great joy and hope for a better future.

For his part, the Angolan ambassador to Brazil. Florêncio de Almeida said that the most important thing is to respect the difference and that in this electoral dispute “may the best one win, the one to whom the Angola people place trust”.
