Africa-Press – Angola. MPLA vice president Luísa Damião congratulated voters from Cabinda to Cunene for their civic culture and the orderly way in which they are exercising their right to vote.
Luísa Damião made the statements after voting, at the Floria school, in the Golfe II area. She mentioned, by the way, that she has just fulfilled a civic duty that serves to place another block in the construction of a Democratic and Lawful State, within the commitment to strengthening the country’s peace and development.
The MPLA vice-president explained that the process is proceeding normally, because the assemblies are well organized, the voters are complying, in an orderly manner, with the right to vote, which means that “it was worth raising the civic culture of citizens”.
For Luísa Damião, voters sent a message in favor of Angola continuing to walk the path of development, a clear demonstration that they are committed to increasingly strengthening democracy.

The secretary general of the OMA, Joana Tomás, said yesterday, after carrying out the vote, in the Terra Nova neighborhood, in the Rangel district, that she is confident of a good result for the MPLA and for the Angolans, mentioning that the most important thing is to keep stability and tranquility.
He recognized that voters manifested a civic behavior, conveying the idea that they realized that it was a day of celebration. Joana Tomás invited women to vote en masse, because voting is important so that we can elect the party and the President that we trust to run the country, in the next five years.
