Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the Constitutional Court, Laurinda Cardoso, said Wednesday that the electoral process is the same as a competition where there are winners and losers, thus referring that the good rules of the game dictate that the results must be accepted.
Laurinda Cardoso made these statements to the press after exercising her right to citizenship, at polling station 59, located at Escola Progresso, Distrito Urbano da Maianga. She added that, in the specific case of democracy, “the great player is the Angolan people, it is they who will decide who will be the winner of the General Elections”. “This decision must be accepted by everyone, without any regret”, emphasized the president of the Constitutional Court.
