Africa-Press – Angola. The National Police in Cuanza-Norte recorded, from the 10th to the 17th of this month, 39 different crimes, resulting from the arrest of 20 citizens, based on a report by the institution.

Of the crimes in question, clarifies the document, 21 occurred in residences, 16 on public roads and one inside a vehicle. Based on the document, the municipality of Cazengo was the one that had the most occurrences, with 24 registered crimes, among which ten thefts, nine offenses against physical integrity and three robberies stand out.

The report also highlights 16 cases of disagreements, recorded in the municipalities of Cazengo, Cambambe, Golungo-Alto, Samba-Caju and Ambaca. In addition, there are references to 19 offenses against property, of which 14 were thefts in the municipalities of Cazengo, Cambambe and Lucala.

During this period, the National Police seized 20 citizens, in operations that also made it possible to recover two firearms, the AKM and mouser type, and 367 ammunition. The National Police’s operations in Cuanza-Norte also resulted in the capture of 104 grams of liamba and the arrest of five foreign nationals, from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Brazzaville, residing illegally.

As for road accidents, there were six road accidents, which resulted in one death and seven injuries, which caused damage of 2,450,000 kwanzas, due to speeding and irregular overtaking. The document also explains that three motorcycles were seized.

During this period, the document adds, 361 fines were imposed, valued at a total of 5,929,567 kwanzas and 76 driving licenses were retained.
