Africa-Press – Angola. The Committee of Ambassadors of the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OEACP) maintained contact with the logo and the website of the 10th summit of the body to be held this year, in Luanda, from 6 to 10 December, with the presence of 79 member nations.

On Thursday, the ambassadors kept in touch with those two key instruments for the promotion and dissemination of the OEACP Heads of State and Government Summit in Luanda during the 950th meeting of the organization, held in person and at a distance, from the headquarters in Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium.

The evaluation of the summit’s logo and website was part of point 7 of the work agenda, related to the presentation of the summit preparation report. The presentation was made by the Angolan ambassador to Belgium, Mário de Azevedo Constantino, as chairman of the working group of the Committee of Ambassadors, and the technical aspects were presented by the engineer Matias Borges, national director of Telecommunications and Information Technologies at the MINTTICS. “All 79 States of the Organization, as well as the Angolan culture, are well represented in the logo”, assured Mário de Azevedo Constantino.

In order to give greater visibility to the event, at an international level, the Angolan ambassador to Belgium, on the occasion, appealed to the Member States for the Organization’s Heads of State and Government to refer to the Summit in their interventions at the 77th session. of the United Nations General Assembly taking place this month in New York, United States.
