Africa-Press – Angola. The writer Ernesto Macuanda presented, Saturday, his first book, entitled “O Reino do Cão”, to the citizens of Cazenga, a children’s work that brings a very focused approach to leadership.

The writer told that with this work he intends to introduce readers to the law of succession, tolerance and sharing as fundamentals of ancestry in African culture.

“The book is not only aimed at children, due to its deep communication, but also for young people, even adults can read this book. Its message is very strong, it is a very important work for children, because it illustrates what they are our African cultures”, he guaranteed.

The book was released in 2020, by Editora das Letras. Three thousand copies were published in the first edition, while in this one two thousand copies were printed, which are available to readers.

The author assured that the next stop will be the province of Huambo, with dates to be announced.

Ernesto Macuanda, known under the literary pseudonym Erkwanda d’avilas, is a native of Luanda, a descendant of the Kikumba Muginga tribe.

He has worked on several film projects by Alberto Botelho, as assistant director, producer and art director, in the films “Amor de Mariana”, 2004, “Encurralada”, 2008, “Os Emplastros”, 2010, and “Kahitu”, 2014 . He also worked on the international musical imitation project The Voice Angola, in 2015, and Big Brothers, double impact Angola and Mozambique, as a production assistant, in 2016.
