Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, has been in São Tomé and Príncipe since early Monday night to monitor the electoral process underway in the country, as part of the presidency of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries ( CPLP).

When he arrived in the country’s capital, the head of Angolan diplomacy was received by the minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Communities of São Tomé and Príncipe, Edite Jua, and by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Angola, Joaquim Pombo.

The Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe held legislative elections on the 25th of September, the provisional results of which were released on the 28th of this current year.
