Africa-Press – Angola. Académica do Lobito and FC Bravos do Maquis open today, at 3:30 pm, at Estádio do Buraco, the third round of the I Division National Football Championship, Girabola. The home team is looking for their first victory in the competition, after two goalless draws against Interclube and Cuando Cubango FC.
In the second home game, Agostinho Tramagal’s men hope to win the match, so they had a week of intensive training.
However, the Lobitanga “students” have a high degree of difficulty, as they will face a Maquis with a hundred points, and in two matches already played, they only recorded defeats, with Petro de Luanda (2-0 ) and 1st of August (1-0).
On the trip to the railway city of Lobito, the maquisard group, under the orders of Zeca Amaral, plays everything or nothing, with the aim of breaking the “sluggish” of successive defeats in the competition, so the game promises to be “electrifying” from the first at the last minute.
In confrontation they will be facing Academica, ninth classified with two points, and Maquis is the last place, without any point.
In fact, the challenges involving coaches Agostinho Tramagal and Zeca Amaral are always close and the results are unpredictable.
In the other game of the afternoon, Grupo Desportivo Isaac de Benguela faces Recreativo do Libolo, at 15:30, at Estádio Municipal, with the freshman of Girabola having a complicated task, against the experienced team of Cuanza-Sul.
With four points, occupying third place in the standings, Recreativo do Libolo is making a good start to the championship. In his debut year, in the competition, Isaac de Benguela is surprising on the positive side, with two games and an equal number of draws, being in 11th position. Libolo is a favorite, but they don’t have an easy game.

The police are in second place, while the greens and whites occupy the third place. Wiliete and Interclube dispute the leadership of the championship, as the leader Petro de Luanda faces Cape Town City, today, in South Africa, for the Champions League.
At Tafe Municipal Stadium, Sporting de Benguela plays Desportivo da Huíla, at 3:30 pm, in a split favoritism game. Both the lions of the North and the military of the South Region are fighting for the three points in dispute.
