Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, appointed, on Monday (10), by decree, Valentim Alberto António, to the position of commander of the Angolan Navy, replacing General Jorge Manuel dos Santos “Sukissa”, who died in August. this year, in Luanda, due to illness.
Prior to the appointment, the President of the Republic determined, after consulting the National Security Council, the promotion to the military rank of Admiral, the Vice-Admiral Valentim Alberto António, and to the military rank of Brigadier, Colonel Francisco Hebo Zangui Longa.
