Africa-Press – Angola. The Head of State, João Lourenço, sent, this Wednesday, a message of congratulations to the people of Equatorial Guinea for the 54th anniversary of the country’s independence.
“On this special date for Equatorial Guinea, I rejoice in the achievements achieved by the Equatorial Guinean nation, which, under Your Excellency’s leadership, has recorded, in recent decades, quite significant advances in the fields of Democracy, Justice and Human Rights”, wrote President João Lourenço in the message sent to President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
The Angolan Head of State, in the same letter, expressed the willingness of the Government he directs to work in a coordinated manner with the Government of Equatorial Guinea in the sense of intensifying common actions, both bilaterally and in the context of the CPLP, that lead to the of projects of mutual interest, which favor the progress and development of both countries and peoples.
