Africa-Press – Angola. The Head of State, João Lourenço, highlighted this Monday that the defense of the sovereignty of the African continent does not depend on strong armies, but on raising the level of schooling, culture and education of the populations and in particular of young people.
Speaking at the high-level debate at the Dakar Forum, which is taking place at the moment, the Angolan statesman also referred that the defense of sovereignty in Africa also depends on the development of African countries from an economic and social point of view.
In João Lourenço’s view, with strong economies, “we will be in a better position to defend our sovereignties”.
