Africa-Press – Angola. Three deaths, 331 new infections and 1,298 patients recovered were the numbers of Covid-19 in Angola, in the last 24 hours, according to the newsletter of the National Directorate of Public Health (DNSP), distributed, this Tuesday (25) , the press.

The data indicate that the deaths occurred in Malanje (2 cases) and Benguela (1). The victims ranged in age from 44 to 71 and are all female.
Regarding new infections, 249 were reported in Luanda, 29 in Cuanza-Norte, 22 in Cuanza-Sul, nine in Huíla, six in Huambo, five in Malanje, four in Benguela, three in Cuando Cubango, two in Cunene, one in Bié and the same number in Moxico.

The infected are aged between 2 months and 102 years, 239 males and 92 females.
With regard to recoveries, 531 were registered in Luanda, 191 in Cuanza-Sul, 156 in Cuanza-Norte, 151 in Bengo, 105 in Moxico, 61 in Cunene, 27 in Benguela, 25 in Bié, 25 in Huambo, 15 in Huíla and 11 in Cuando Cubango.

With these data, the country accounts for 97,594 positive cases, of which 1,891 died, 90,156 recovered and 5,547 were active. Of this number, four are in critical condition, 26 are severe, 49 are moderate, 37 have mild symptoms and 5,431 are asymptomatic.

In Covid-19 treatment centers across the country, 116 patients are hospitalized. 49 citizens are in institutional quarantine and 5,531 are in home isolation.
The Molecular Biology Laboratory processed, in the last 24 hours, 3,863 samples, of which 331 were positive. Since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, 1,364,783 samples have been processed, of which 97,594 have tested positive.
