Preparations for FENACULT already stirs art creators

Africa-Press – Angola. The province of Cabinda will participate in the 2022 edition of the National Festival of Arts and Culture (FENALCULT), with several cultural authors, to once again demonstrate the region’s potential in the artistic field, said, in Cabinda, the provincial secretary for Culture, Ernesto Barros André.

Speaking in an interview, he did not expressly indicate the number of authors who will be present at the event, but informed that it will be in a diversified composition, integrated by elements from different artistic disciplines from dance, music, theater, poetry and plastic arts. “We have already prepared for the exhibition in the festival several cultural authors of the province”, he said.

The head of Culture in Cabinda expressed his satisfaction with the current design of FENACULT, which also favors the participation of all municipalities, which allows even more to praise national culture and promote its development so that generations future can be proud of the country.

“I am very much looking forward to the present edition of FENALCULT as it brings a great innovation that includes the participation of all municipalities”, said Ernesto Barros André, for whom the event that will take place from November 28th to 30th, in Cabinda, will be a space for exchange, strengthening national unity in diversity and free expression of different cultural forms and manifestations.

The official took the opportunity to inform that the institution he directs is seriously committed to the process of “registration” of historical sites of interest in the region, with particular emphasis on “Siamazi” and “Kissala Ndindi”, two very important places that must necessarily “We have in Cabinda many historical monuments, some of which are already registered as national heritage and others have been reclassified”, said Ernesto Barros André, in a clear reference to the Bakama of Tchizo, which very recently were consecrated as national heritage.
