Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan ambassador to Brazil, Florêncio de Almeida, defended, on Tuesday, in Brasília, the increase in bilateral trade between the two countries.

According to a note from the Embassy, ​​the head of the Angolan Diplomatic Mission in Brazil made this statement during a working meeting with the president of the Society of Diplomats in Brazil, Francisco Chiarato.

During the meeting, aspects of an economic, legal, banking and investment nature were discussed, with a view to possible partnership agreements in the not too distant future.

Florêncio de Almeida recalled that, in the past, the trade flow between Angola and Brazil was around one billion dollars.

Now that the pandemic already allows greater freedom of action and movement, the ambassador said it was time to significantly increase the volume of business in the various areas of common interest.
