Africa-Press – Angola. A delegation from the Court of Auditors participates, since Monday (7), in the XXIV International Congress of Higher Control Institutions (INTOSAI), an event that takes place in the city of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
The Angolan delegation is headed by the president of the Court of Auditors, Exalgina Gambôa. She is also a member of the advisory judges Fausto de Carvalho Simões and Arlete Conceição, as well as senior officials of the institution.
The XXIV International Congress of Higher Control Institutions closes its work next Friday (11), having on the agenda the themes “The work of higher control institutions in the context of public calamity” and “Global voice, global result and impact of long range”.
The International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions, INTOSAI’s supreme body, brings together around 800 members, including associates and observers.
The Supreme Audit Institutions meet every three years. The last Congress took place in Moscow, Russia, in 2019. The first, which marked the foundation of INTOSAI, took place in Havana, Cuba, in 1953.
