Africa-Press – Angola. This Tuesday, the Council of Ministers considered the Amnesty Bill, a legal diploma that aims to grant general pardon for common and military crimes, punishable by imprisonment for up to 10 years.
The legal diploma analyzed in a session guided by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, states that these are crimes committed by national or foreign citizens, in the period between 12 November 2015 and 11 November 2022.
After being appreciated by the Council of Ministers, the document will be sent to the National Assembly for discussion and approval.
