Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the National Assembly, Carolina Cerqueira, appealed, this Monday (14), to the leaders of the elected and reappointed specialty commissions to make decisions looking at the country.
“We think that it has to be with a holistic vision towards the country and towards our populations. I would like the sense of responsibility to prevail. The sense of organization and, above all, the sense of democratic education, so that we know how to listen to the opinion of the others. Let there be a permanent dialogue”, he said, during the ceremony of handing over portfolios to the presidents of the specialized commissions of the Parliament.
On the same occasion that the presidents of the Board of Directors of the National Assembly and of the Group of Women Parliamentarians also performed the ritual of handing over portfolios, Carolina Cerqueira asked for a sense of responsibility and organization from the deputies in office.
The president of the National Assembly requested the presentation within 48 hours of the bodies that constitute the working commissions, namely, the vice-presidents and the board secretaries.
The former chairman of the second working commission of the National Assembly, Roberto Leal Monteiro, handed the folders to Ruth Mendes, the third commissioner, Alcides Sakala, received the folders from the hands of deputy Amália Alexandre, on behalf of the former leader of the commission, Josefina Diakité .
Deputy Tomás da Silva handed over the folders to the new chairman of the fourth working commission, Franco Yani, while Ruth Mendes handed over the testimony to the new head of the fifth commission, Ayaeza da Silva.
Deputy Boaventura Cardoso, former chairman of the seventh commission, gave way to Conceição Paulo, and parliamentarian Justino Pinto de Andrade left the portfolios to the new chairman of the ninth commission, Sérgio Vaz. Deputy Arlete Mbinda handed over the folders to the new leader of the tenth commission, Deputy Vigílio Tyova.
The new president of the Group of Women Parliamentarians, Teresa Albina Neto, received the portfolios of deputy Aldina da Lomba, and the new president of the Board of Directors of the National Assembly, Suzana Melo, received the portfolios of deputy Elvira Van-Dúnem.
