Africa-Press – Angola. The pearls secured passage to the quarter-finals with the full, against the Democratic Republic of Congo, by 35-22, in the third and last game of group A, in the CAN of Women’s Handball, in Dakar, Senegal.

The first half was well disputed and both teams showed why they had not suffered a defeat until then, however, the title champions managed to go into the break with a three-goal advantage.

The Angolans benefited from a super inspired Magda Cazanga who ended up winning the distinction of best player on the field, the second half belonged to the national team that took off on the scoreboard and set the score at 35-22.

The pearls are preparing to face Tunisia in the quarter-finals, which is another candidate for the title and which promises to be a titanic duel.
