Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Lunda-Norte, Deolinda Vilarinho, considered, this Saturday, in Dundo, that the Executive’s proposal for the Alteration of the Political-Administrative Division will imprint another dynamic in the reduction of asymmetries between the different circumscriptions.
Speaking at the party’s 66th anniversary ceremony, he underlined that the process should mark the starting point for the elevation of several localities with considerable population density to the category of municipalities and communes, including the secondment of administrative authorities.
Deolinda Vilarinho stated that the trust that the Angolan people deposited in the party of “comrades”, in the General Elections of last August, allows the continuity of public investment programs and others of crucial importance aimed at the insertion of families in productive life, such as the fight against poverty, Social Monetary Transfers (Kwenda) and the Integrated Plan of Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM).
Registration of the rehabilitation project via earthworks on the road that connects the municipal headquarters of Cuango with the locality of Cafunfu, passing through the commune of Luremo to the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), over a distance of more than 200 kilometers , according to Deolinda Vilarinho, is part of the main ongoing actions of the PIIM in Lunda-Norte.
