Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial governor of Cabinda, Mara Quiosa, praised, this Saturday, the permanent readiness of the staff of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) and the continuous surveillance of the borders, with a view to defending and protecting national sovereignty.

Mara Quiosa, who was speaking at the Command of the Cabinda Military Region, during the ceremony alluding to the National Army Day, recognized the bravery of the military of the branch, deployed in the different units of the province.

́ ́I exhort all troops so that, each one at his post, redouble vigilance, closing ranks around defense and territorial integrity ́ ́, he said.

For this reason, progress is only possible thanks to the high patriotic spirit, total delivery and sacrifice for the superior designs of the Fatherland.

He asked the military to continue to raise civic, ethical, legal and health values, as well as to observe exemplary behavior in the barracks and outside them, striving for responsible and patriotic conduct in the face of current transformations and future challenges.

The province of Cabinda has land, sea and river borders to the north with the Republic of Congo and to the northeast, southeast and south with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
