Africa-Press – Angola. With a thrashing (6-1) over SK Dragões do Uíge, Clube Desportivo da Huíla (CDH) ended yesterday, Thursday, in Lubango, the first round of Girabola 2022/2023, finishing in sixth place in the table classification, with 21 points.
Desportivo da Huíla entered more aggressively, making sustained and efficient ball transitions, leaving Rupson devilish to open the “hostilities”, with a brace, in the 5th and 8th minutes, respectively.

The coach of SK Dragões do Uíge, Almério Cristóvão (Boni), stated that the altitude of the province and lack of technical preparation were the basis for the defeat.
With this result, Desportivo da Huíla occupies the sixth place, with 21 points, 17 more points in relation to the opponent, in a championship led by Petro de Luanda, with 37 points.
For the 16th round that will take place in January 2023, CDH will face Isaac de Benguela, while ASK Dragões do Uíge will play with Recreativo do Libolo.
