Africa-Press – Angola. Coach Carlos Dinis was presented this Monday as coach of Interclube’s senior men’s basketball team, at a press conference held in Luanda.
After having ceased functions in the senior women’s formation, for health reasons, recovered in Portugal, the experienced coach resumed work this morning already in his new formation.
Speaking to the press, at the 28 de Fevereiro pavilion, during the presentation of the technical group and athletes, Carlos Dinis said that whoever coaches Interclube risks being champion several times.
According to him, the current challenge was already considered by the club’s management, adding that the immediate objective is to maintain what the team has been doing well and improve quality for the future.
The coach will lead the team for the first time on the 20th, when Interclube will face FC Vila Clotilde, following the National Basketball Championship, where it occupies the 7th position, with 28 points.
The competition is led by 1.o de Agosto, with 35 points, followed by Petro de Luanda, with 33. Clube Amigos de Basquetebol de Benguela is in the 13th and last position, with 21.
