Africa-Press – Angola. The General Tax Administration (AGT) is preparing to renew its image with the purchase of new uniforms. The authorization of the President of the Republic has already been dispatched. João Lourenço authorized an expenditure of 320 million kwanzas for the purchase of uniforms.
According to the presidential dispatch, the uniforms are intended for the regional services and the ‘front-offices’ assigned to the headquarters of the AGT.
According to the document that Jornal Valor Económico had access to, AGT had already launched a tender, but none of the proposals submitted by competitors was approved. For this new version of the acquisition of uniforms, a simplified phased procurement procedure will be opened.
Finance Minister Vera Daves is responsible for approving the contract procedure and checking its validity.
