Africa-Press – Angola. Reinforcing the budget allocation for the bodies of the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) in the Eastern Judiciary Region is among the recommendations of the III Annual Review of Activities Developed by the institution in Moxico, Lunda Sul and Norte.
Participants at the meeting, which took place from the 25th to the 28th of the current month, refer, in the statement, that the recommendation aims at the acquisition of goods and services, as well as the improvement in the functioning of the institution.
Among the recommendations of the meeting are also the increase of technicians of justice, administrative employees, the increase of training and qualifications in legal matters.
The magistrates also requested, in the recommendations, the implementation of the special remuneration regime for magistrates and technicians in the sector who work in the mining regions. They warn that the aforementioned point is foreseen in the Mining Code.
In the document, the participants recalled the need to include in the investment programs the construction of infrastructures, for installations of the services of the various bodies of the PGR in the East region.
They called for the improvement of access to the different municipalities in the region, as well as the improvement of living conditions.
This year the Annual Review of Activities Developed by PRG in the East of Angola took place in the city of Saurimo, capital of Lunda Sul.
