Africa-Press – Angola. The auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Benguela, D. Estêvão Binga, considered, Sunday (06), as a fundamental pillar of the Church the reinforcement of the evangelization action, for the promotion of love for others and respect for moral values and citizenship.
Ordained yesterday in the Capelinha de Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes, the new prelate, appointed in November by Pope Francis, said that his biggest bets will be the promotion of evangelical principles, obedience, purity and poverty, these being some of the virtues that enshrine the spirit of a true Christian, as Jesus Christ taught.
The practice of doing good, mutual respect, living in simplicity, justice and humility are, in Ms Binga’s view, the values that can contribute to the process of community development.
