Africa-Press – Angola. The Public Service Desks (BUAP) in Lunda Norte province will, as of February, issue the Identity Card (BI), birth registration, residence certificate, duplicate driving license and bulletin of death, within the scope of the process of decentralization of Justice services.
The One-stop Shops for the Public, implemented in 2022, were initially designed to issue the Municipality Card and update the Electoral Register.
The information was given Tuesday, in Dundo, by the director of the provincial office of Registries and Administrative Modernization of Lunda Norte, Catoco Sozinho, underlining that the measure aims to relieve the identification posts and speed up the issuance of the referred documents.
He stressed that with this measure, citizens residing in some communes will not have the need to travel to municipal headquarters in search of Justice services.
The province of Lunda Norte has 26 Single Counters for Public Service (BUAP).
