Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of JMPLA in Uíge, Faustino Nguange Simão, defended Wednesday, the need for party militants and citizens in general to continue to assist the Executive in carrying out socio-economic projects in the country.

The politician made this appeal after learning about the functioning of the National Roads Institute of Angola (INEA) and the Provincial Office of Infrastructure and Technical Services of Uíge, within the framework of the celebration of the 62 years of the National Liberation Struggle, marked on the 4th of February last.

He referred that JMPLA has the obligation to intervene more in society and in social development tasks.

He highlighted the importance of young people becoming aware of the transformations taking place in the region, such as the construction of houses, schools, hospitals, supply of drinking water, acquisition of land, roads, electrification of municipalities and other ongoing actions in the region.

The politician referred that the implementation of new national construction policies has given more opportunities to young people to acquire employment.

During the visit, the militants were informed about the projects to be implemented in the coming days.

Projects include the rehabilitation of secondary and tertiary roads and bridges in the municipalities of Puri, Bembe and Damba.
