Africa-Press – Angola. The second provincial secretary of the MPLA in Uíge, Pedro Conga, defended, this Saturday, the continuous commitment to adopting better working methods, in order to preserve the gains achieved in the 2022 general elections.
The politician made this statement while speaking at the opening of the fourth ordinary plenary session of the OMA Provincial Committee, where he explained that these working methods will allow women to contribute more to policies to improve the social conditions of the population.
He referred that the well-being of the people is one of the mottos of the MPLA, which has always defended this bet and materialized it in the various programs and plans drawn up by the Executive.
For this reason, he stated that the MPLA continues to consider OMA as a strong organization and that it has been able to correspond with the party’s purpose.
The one-day meeting elected the secretaries of the provincial secretariat department, the coordinator and her deputy, department of information and new technologies and the promotion and development of women.
The event also aimed at presenting, discussing and approving the degree of execution of the actions carried out, activities carried out during the year 2022, as well as the plan of activities to be carried out during the year 2023. EP
