Africa-Press – Angola. The writer and journalist Tazuary Nkeita is the guest of the first edition, this year, of the project “Textualidades – Conversas com Leitores”, to be held today, from 4:30 pm, at the Dr. António Agostinho Neto Memorial (MAAN), in Luanda.

The event marks the official opening of the MAAN program in 2022. Tazuary Nkeita, the literary pseudonym of José da Costa Soares, was born in Luanda on January 11, 1956 and it was as a writer and contributor to school newsletters that he created this pseudonym.

At the age of 19, on the eve of National Independence, Tazuary Nkeita begins to work as a journalist, having been one of the founders of Agência Angola Press (Angop). From 1976 onwards, he became a regular columnist for Jornal de Angola and, in 2001, he made his literary debut with the work “42, 4- A voz dos dibengos”, novelized chronicles, a satire on Angolan society at the time. in 2005 and 2011, respectively, the novels “My Gold Bracelet” and “Last Secret”
