Africa-Press – Angola. UNITA spokesperson Marcial Dachala recognized, on Friday, in Luanda, the principle of equality that is being demonstrated by the Executive, through the Commission for the Investigation and Certification of Deaths of Victims of Political Conflicts (CAVICOP) and encouraged to continue on the same path, to ensure the success of the process and national reconciliation.

Marcial Dachala, was speaking at a press conference aimed at the presentation of the funeral program of the former secretary general of UNITA, Adolosi Mango Alicerces, and the member of the then Joint Political and Military Commission Elias Salupeto Pena.

The funeral rites of Mango Alicerces and Salupeto Pena, victims of the post-electoral clashes in 1992, will take place next Thursday and Saturday, respectively, in their homelands, Bailundo and Andulo.

The funeral program will take place from the 17th to the 19th of this month, which will culminate with their funeral, in their homeland, in the provinces of Huambo and Bié.

UNITA’s official act will take place on Thursday, at the Sovismo complex, in Viana, Luanda.

At the press conference, Mango Alicerces’ eldest son, Ali Mango, and Esteves Pena “Kamy”, brother of Salupeto Pena, were present. Kamy highlighted the fact that the cadaver identification experts knew how to do their job. He also mentioned that the funeral and transport expenses are borne by the Government.

Ali Mango stressed that, with a proper funeral, his father will finally be able to rest in peace in his homeland. foundations

Marcial Dachala informed that the funeral of the former vice-president of UNITA, Jeremias Kalandula Chitunda, and of the person responsible for the administrative affairs of the party, Eliseu Tchimbili, are also due soon.
