Africa-Press – Angola. The deputy prime minister and minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, arrives in Luanda this evening, ahead of a business mission from her country that is making a week-long visit to Angola.

ccording to the visit’s programme, a bilateral meeting is planned, at ministerial and sectoral level, with the Angolan side, including, among others, the holders of the Foreign Affairs, Finance, Industry and Trade, Transport, Agriculture and Fisheries and Energy portfolios. and Waters.

The Namibian businessmen should travel to the provinces of Bengo and Kwanza-Sul, where they will visit economic enterprises, such as banana plantations, a disposable factory, sanitary products, cosmetics and detergents, as well as textile and biscuit industries.

In Luanda, the business mission of Namibia goes to the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) to verify “in loco” the operation of the plastic factory, glass production and tractor assembly line.

Signing of legal instruments

As part of the visit of the Namibian delegation to Angola, the two countries will sign three legal instruments, namely “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Trade, Investment and Promotion of Industrial Cooperation”, “Agreement establishing the Provisional Rules of Joint Operation of the Calueque Hydraulic Use” and the “Draft Agreement for the creation of the Business Forum between the Chambers of Commerce of the Republic of Angola and the Republic of Namibia”.
