Africa-Press – Angola. The price of a barrel of Brent oil, which serves as a reference for Angolan exports for delivery in April, today surpassed the USD 95 barrier on the London futures market, trading at USD 95.57.

This figure represents an increase of 1.15 percent compared to last Friday’s settlement and may be due to the growing tension over the situation in Ukraine.

On Friday, North Sea crude had ended the day on the International Exchange Futures with an appreciation of $3.10 from the previous day.

The escalation of tension over a possible Russian military incursion into Ukrainian territory triggered a rise in oil prices due to fears of problems in the global supply of crude oil, according to experts, quoted by EFE today.
