Africa-Press – Angola. The 2nd commander of the Central Military Region (RMC), Brigadier Sapalo Baptista Tchimuenguele, Tuesday highlighted the experience of the Angolan Army in guerrilla and counter-guerrilla actions, for internal peace and for peace on the African continent.
The general officer was speaking at the opening of the Methodological Instructive Concentrate for the commanders of sections, allocations and crews of the RMC units, with a view to raising the levels of knowledge and readiness of the troop, in addition to standardizing the criteria for interpreting and executing the downloaded documentation superiorly.
On the occasion, the 2nd commander of the RMC said that the experience of the Angolan Army in the defense of territorial integrity and in internal and external conventional actions, which allowed it to be on a level of excellence at the regional level of the African continent.
For this reason, he said, there is an urgent need and obligation for the higher bodies of the FAA to continuously envisage different training, similar to the Methodological Instructional Concentrate, to improve the methods of planning, organization and execution of orders issued by superiors.
He referred that the concentrate will allow the commanders of sections, allocations and crews of the RMC units to have greater technical and tactical skills in the exercise of their professional activities, in view of the new challenges of the military community.
Sapalo Baptista Tchimuenguele made it known that training in various specialties is part of the priorities of the tasks plan of the Higher Command of the Army and the RMC, in particular, to be fulfilled during each year of operational, combative, educational-patriotic preparation.
According to the brigadier, actions of this kind are aimed at cultivating and strengthening the organization’s discipline, with a view to maintaining the firmness and availability of the staff, for the complete fulfillment of the missions issued by superiors.
To the participants, he appealed to responsibility and pragmatism during the concentrate, by teaching theoretical and practical contents on the development aspects of the command and leadership of the RMC, in order to achieve efficiency in the modernization of the units.
With a duration of three days, the event takes place in compliance with the methodological indications, on the organization, operational, combative and educational-patriotic preparation of the instruction year 2023/2024.
