Africa-Press – Angola. The governor of Cuanza Norte, Pedro Makita Armando Júlia, this Saturday urged the youth in the province to commit themselves to the continuous promotion of peace and reinforcement of harmony among Angolans.

Pedro Makita Júlia made this appeal at the end of the march in support of peacekeeping, promoted by JMPLA in the province, which took place across the country.

The politician urged young Angolans at different levels to remain vigilant, alerting family members, friends and neighbors about the existence of enemies of peace and stability.

He called attention to young people not to be influenced by the appeals of promoters of demonstrations announced on social networks, as they are elements without political arguments and with the intention of disrespecting legally enshrined State institutions, destroying public goods, causing disorder and leading populations to disunity, causing chaos in the country.

He considered that only irresponsible people could want to destroy the hard-won peace and make Angolans eternal victims of their whims.

Pedro Makita, also the first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Cuanza Norte, applauded the initiative of the JMPLA in organizing the march in favor of peace and social stability, for which he thanked the members of civil society and of different churches based in the province who joined the activity, to reply to the enemies of peace.

The first provincial secretary of JMPLA, Eliseu Ângela, exhorted young people in the province of Cuanza-Norte to rule out participation in demonstrations that encourage disorder, under penalty of being subject to sanctions imposed by law.

Eliseu Ângelo informed that the JMPLA march also aimed to praise the achievements of the Executive in favor of the preservation of Peace and search for solutions to solve the main problems that afflict the populations.

Participating in the march, which started in the school square and went through the different streets of the city of Ndalatando, were the governor of the province, Pedro Makita Armando Júlia and more than three hundred young people from various youth organizations based in the province.
