MPLA in Uíge reiterates call to preserve peace

Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Uíge, José Carvalho da Rocha, reiterated, this Saturday, the appeal to the local youth for the preservation of peace.

The politician, who made this appeal at the end of the march in support of peace in Angola, said that it is an asset that must be preserved by all, regardless of party affiliation or religious creed.

José Carvalho da Rocha reasoned that the preservation of peace will make it possible to continue building schools, hospitals, roads and other social infrastructures in the country.

He also defended the need for Angolans to dialogue more and more and to be united, with a view to building a better Angola.

In this sense, he exhorted young people to be vigilant and denounce all those movements that are against peace.

Participants in the march, promoted by the Provincial Committee of the MPLA in Uíge, walked along the street of the former headquarters of the MPLA, António Agostinho Neto roundabout, the Popular district, the industrial zone and other streets in the city of Uíge.
