Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Bengo, Maria Antónia Nelumba, said in Caxito, Bengo province, that peace must be preserved by all Angolans.

Speaking at the end of a youth march, promoted by JMPLA, as part of the 21 years of effective peace and national reconciliation in Angola, he said that peace is lasting, because it cost tears, sweat and blood, and must be consolidated every day. .

“There is much to be done, so all Angolans must think of the country as such, and together we find more adequate ways of solving the problems of the people and the youth in particular,” he underlined.

According to the minister, the achievements achieved over 21 years, in terms of fundamental rights and guarantees of citizens, in the economy and in the social sector, were only possible because Angolans and young people in particular have known how to preserve peace and national reconciliation .

The provincial secretary of JMPLA, Júnior Daniel Simão, considered peace a gift from God, which means peace, tranquility and absence of war.

The secretary of the Provincial Youth Council, Sabino Rodrigues, added that young people are condemned to preserve peace for the well-being of their families.

In Bengo, the march had the participation of young people from JMPLA, OMA, religious entities and traditional authorities from the six municipalities of the province.

The march started at Largo de 10 de Novembro and ended at Estádio Municipal do Dande.
