Africa-Press – Angola. A JMPLA delegation has been in Havana (Cuba), since Friday, for a working visit at the invitation of the equivalent organization of the Communist Party of Cuba.

At the José Martí International Airport, in the Cuban capital, the delegation headed by the 1st national secretary of the JMPLA, Crispiniano dos Santos, was received by the head of the International Relations Department of the National Committee of the Union of Young Communists of Cuba (UJC), Suniel Sosa. lamb.

In his first impressions, Crispiniano dos Santos said that, with the visit to Cuba, the JMPLA hopes to intensify the exchange with the UJC, a youth organization of the Communist Party of Cuba.

For his part, Suniel Sosa took the opportunity to highlight the strong bonds of friendship that unite Angola and Cuba and expressed the UJC’s readiness to work with JMPLA to strengthen existing relations.

“Angola has always remained present, alongside the Cuban people in the fight against the North American blockade and the imposed sanctions”, he said.

The Angolan delegation’s program includes visits to the Fidel Castro and Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) centers. Meetings are also planned with the first secretary of the UJC, Aylín Álvarez García, and with youth association leaders from the Angolan community, within the framework of the program “JMPLA meeting Angolan youth”.
