Angolan qualifies for Spain's World Cup

Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan gymnast Luana Gomes has qualified for the World Rhythmic Championship, to be held from 23 to 28 August, in Spain.

The fact is due to the third position, in individual, in the African Championship of the sport, held in the city of Moka, in Mauritius.

In addition to this feat, the representative of the country also obtained two gold medals, one in archery apparatus and the other in mass. In the ball and ribbon equipment, she had a silver medal in each.

Overall, by team, the National Team, made up of Elizabeth Mangundo and Aysha Morgado, secured third place, adding up to a total of six (6) medals, two (2) gold, two (2) silver and two (2) brass.

Egypt was the winner, followed by South Africa.
