This document, which aims to identify the actual residence of citizens, for the fulfillment of any administrative act, registration of occurrence and mobility, has so far started to be issued in two municipalities of the province, namely, Moxico (headquarters) and Camanongue.

The director of the provincial director of Registries and Administrative Modernization in Moxico, Henrique Cholimba Mateus, who was speaking at the opening of the process, called for citizens to come to the BUAP to acquire this document, the first copy of which is exempt from fees.

He added that in the next few days, the process could cover the other seven municipalities that make up the province of Moxico.

He reiterated that, in the near future, the Entrepreneur’s Single Counters will start collecting data for the issuance of Identity Cards, driving license (standard of SADC – Community for the Development of Southern Africa) and other documents.

The province of Moxico, which has more than 900,000 inhabitants, according to the projection of the National Institute of Statistics (INE), has 30 Single Counters for Attending the Public (BUAP).
